Letter C Lesson on Colors and Number 3

- Told the story of the 3 bears (emphasize 3 throughout the story and have kids count)

- Had a picture of the 3 bears with boxes below them. On a seperate page I had pictures of the three items discussed in the story: porridge, chair, bed, for each bear. The kids cut out the items and glued them in the appropriate spot for each bear.

- Sang "When goldilocks went to the house of the bears"

- Make "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see books"

- Made a book with blank pages for the kids with just the names of the colors writen on each page. On Tuesday they clipped out pictures from magazines. On Thursday they glued their pictures onto the correct color page.

- painted a color wheel, we talked about 3 primary colors and 3 secondary colors (mixed primary colors) Next year I think it would be fun to do this edible with died vanilla pudding!

- A basic writing page with a picture of a crayon bent in the shape of a letter C, practiced writing Cc

- Sorted legos into colors and each kid built a tower with the legos they sorted.
